From the winemaker

In our family of wines, this is our firstborn. Le Piaole was the wine we made when my father, Ugolino, started nearly 30 years ago and it is now our most popular wine. Since then, we have introduced purely organic farming methods. Decanter magazine recently awarded the wine 93 points (2020) and their recognition of this family favourite was “stupendo!” It has a special place in our hearts.

I really rate this organic wine for both price and drinkability. I can’t tolerate New World wines (due to the chemicals added), so finding a wine that I can tolerate and really enjoy without being charged an arm and a leg is great!
